Bhartiya Gramotthan Seva Vikas Sansthan” was established by a small group of social activists and enthusiastic people who recognize that there is a great need to work for the betterment of the poor community.

It got registered under society registration act, rule 21 – A, 1860, Registration no. 1165/1999/2000, F.C.R.A. on 21/02/2000. The Organization had been organized by the activities of social workers and after the registration Organization had tried the social equality and uplift of weak people.

Organization has implemented various developmental activities. Organization has undertaken activities to promote integrated and self – sustaining village societies by uplifting the deprived and down trodden, the vulnerable and exploited groups like children, women and aged, provided literacy to these groups, supported with health facilities and economically enriched them to change overall disadvantage situation to that of healthy and vibrant members of the society.

Since its inception in the year 2000 BGSVS has been working in Bahraich district adjacent to the border of Nepal on different issues like Girls trafficking, Health, Education, Women empowerment, child rights and Self Help groups etc.

Organization is committed for the social upliftment of the marginalized deprived community and disables through the education and capacity building to mainstream them for their right and entitlement.
