Bhartiya Gramotthan Seva Vikas Sansthan (BGSVS) is a registered voluntary organization. It got registered in the year 2000 by a group of like-minded people to improve the quality of life of people residing in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Since its inception, BGSVS continuously is executing various developmental activities. Organization has done various activities to promote integrated and self –sustaining village society by uplifting the deprived and downtrodden, the vulnerable and exploited groups like children, women, and aged; put an end to illiteracy, make the disease-free and economically enriched and to change overall disadvantaged situation to that of a healthy and vibrant society.

         Since its inception in the year 2000 BGSVS has been working in the districts of Uttar Pradesh(Bahraich, Lakhimpur, Piliphit) and Uttrakhand(Champawat) adjacent to the border of Nepal on different issues like Girls trafficking, Health, Education, Women empowerment, Child rights, and Self Help Groups, WASH issue etc.

Ensuring the socio-economic development of weaker sections,  small and marginal farmers, deprived and debarred women and children towards their rights with the help of various activities especially eco-friendly, health income generation programs through rights-based and remedial approaches.
